Course History

Designed By Johnny Miller

Collingtree Park Golf Course was opened in 1990 by designer and former British & US Open Champion, Mr. Johnny Miller.

In the early 1970's, Johnny Miller emerged from a league of professional golfers to become one of the world's greatest players. Johnny has won over twenty four PGA Tour events in his career, 2 major championships and other international championships worldwide. As a result, Johnny Miller has established himself as one of the golfing greats and has been recognized as such with his election to the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Using all the skills and guile amassed over many years of tournament golf at the highest level, Johnny then designed a testing 6,776 yard par 72, Collingtree Park Golf Course.

"Great Britain is sacred ground for me ... I've always wanted to design a course on British soil. We tried very hard to design a course that would speak to today's player and, at the same time, preserve the natural beauty of the land and the sense of tradition that's so much a part of golf in the British Isles." - Johnny Miller
