Things that you need to know…

Member Tee Times

Each Saturday and Sunday we operate a ‘members tee time system’ in the mornings.

07:00 – 10:00    Members can roll up and play the course without booking. We do not allow booking of these slots. Members who come alone will be joined to other members to make 4balls where possible.

Members only may play in these tee times, guests are not allowed. If a member competition is scheduled for this weekend, members tee times will not take place.

10:00 – 12:00    (10:00 – 11:00 October – March) Members may book tee times up to 18 days in advance, guests of members are also welcome within these times (visitors and societies are not permitted).

Arriving for your tee-time

It is acceptable to arrive for your tee time 10 minutes before your tee slot. Please make sure that you always register your arrival in the Pro Shop. Members, their guests and visitors who do not register may be asked to leave the course and return to the Pro Shop.

Competition booking

A Competition book is available for viewing in the Pro Shop. Members may put their name down to play in the competitions. Only members of the Club may play in Competitions. Ladies Competition details and entry forms are currently held within the Ladies Changing Rooms.

Tee time booking

Members may book tee times up to 18 days in advance, this can be done in person, on the telephone or via the online booking system. Please remember, there are no bookings for members tee times (at the weekend) these are operated on a ‘roll up and play’ basis.

Markers on the course

The brown posts around the course mark 150 yards from that point to the front of the green.

Red & yellow posts mark hazards around the course and should be treated in accordance with the R&A Rules of Golf.

Marshalls & Starters

Marshalls are employed to ensure that only member, their guests and paying visitors are playing the course. During off-peak hours, marshalls will patrol the course and check bag tags. Please ensure that you display your bag tag at all times and that your visitors display their visitors bag tag which is obtained from the Pro Shop.

Starters are employed at members tee times. They have control over the course and will work to keep the course moving smoothly and help to avoid slow-play.

Greenkeepers priority

Greenkeepers have priority over the course until 07:30am each day. If there are any other times when Greenkeepers have priority, the Pro Shop will inform golfers prior to their game.

Etiquette

Please adhere to the etiquette rules displayed in the Clubhouse and the Pro Shop.

Slow Play

A reasonable time to complete 9 holes of golf on our course is 2 hours and 15 minutes hours. 9 holes should never take longer than 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Use of the Tees

Members of Collingtree are permitted to play off the white tees as long as they play golf to a good standard and do not hold up the rest of the course.

Getting to know other members

Alongside members tee times, Collingtree offers a variety of ways to get to know other members. Participating in Competitions, playing in social golf events (members weekly Club-night etc) or coming along to the social events are a good way of being introduced to other golfers. Alternatively, please call the sales office where a member of staff will be happy to get in contact with another member where you can play golf at a mutually convenient time.

Societies & Groups

Collingtree Park allows groups and societies (of 8 or more golfers) to play the course during the week, and after 12pm at weekends (11am during the winter season). Groups and societies are asked to adhere to the same rules as all other golfers.

Visitors & Guests

Both guests of members and visitors are welcome to play at Collingtree Park Golf Course. We do not allow visitors (golfers playing without members present) to book the course more than 7 days in advance, they are also unable to play before 12pm at weekends (11am in Winter). Guests of members are welcome to play the course and are able to play after 10am at weekends, providing that they play with a member of Collingtree Park. Members can book their tee slots up to eighteen days in advance, they can also book their guests into these tee slots.

It is essential that all visitors register in the Pro Shop before their tee-off. They should receive a visitors bag-tag which should be displayed at all times.
