Welcome to the vibrant Junior Section at Collingtree Park Golf Club! We are thrilled to support young golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors. Our program is designed to nurture talent, foster a love of the game, and promote sportsmanship in a friendly and supportive environment.
Our Divisions Junior CPGC – 2024 events
Division 1: The Full Experience
For our most experienced junior golfers, Division 1 encompasses the full 18-hole course experience. This division is designed for those who are ready to take their game to the next level and compete under more challenging conditions.
Division 2: Developing Skills
As skills and confidence grow, juniors in Division 2 play a full 9 holes using the Red and Green Tees. This division is tailored for younger boys who are ready for more of a challenge but still fitting for their developing abilities.
Division 3: Getting Started
Perfect for beginners, Division 3 offers juniors the chance to play on the main course but with a manageable challenge. Participants play 9 holes from about 150 yards, making it an excellent introduction to the sport and our beautiful course.
Features and Benefits of membership
Coaching and Development
All our junior members benefit from coaching sponsored through their membership, featuring guidance from an onsite PGA Coach. Our coaching is tailored to each skill level, ensuring that every junior golfer receives the support they need to improve and enjoy the game. This is assisted through the Junior sponsors and a small fee coaching sessions through each of the golfing seasons. For more information please contact Junior Team
Competitions and Recognition
We proudly host an array of competitions, including the prestigious county junior open held annually. Our juniors can also compete in the Order of Merit, tracking their progress and accomplishments throughout the season.
